This piece is so soft! I love the size of the hood and the plush interior. It's effortless to throw on if I need a warm layer. The embroidery definitely gets noticed too!

I am 5'4", 170lb and bought a large because I like my cozy layers a little bit oversized.

Cozy and fun

I love the embroidery design on the back. It has good pockets and thumb holes and a big hood. Very soft. As soon as I got it, my partner demanded one for himself (I got him the raven embroidered one and he's THRILLED).

I do wish there was some sort of closure option for it, but I'm probably going to end up buying one of those cardigan chain clips, so it's not a major gripe.

Spine Cloak

Very cozy and soft lining. Mine is a bit too big, but they were out of the size I wanted, so that's on me. Only note... the vertebrae are upside down anatomically! Still love it though! Most people don't notice...

Lovely jacket that adds a little Gothy flair to your outfit.

Lovely embroidery. It is loose fitting which is perfect for me. If you want it form fitting size down. The fabric is soft and comfortable. The hood is ample. I am 5'11" and the sleeves and hem were plenty long. The open front drape is flattering.
It is the perfect thing to toss on over your "lounge about the house" clothing to go run an errand.

One wish, two wish : It would be nice if it had a loop sewn inside so you could hang it on a coat rack hook. The hood is so loose and heavy that is does not grab onto a hook and stay there. The embroidery is delicate so I don't want to hang it by the back collar.
I would love an open cascade style coat like this that has a zipper. (I like the embroidered and printed hoodies you carry but the shape is not flattering on a more curvaceous woman. The shoulders on the hoodies are very broad and the waist is tight.)

Witchy Comfort Magnificence

The spine cloak was the first piece of clothing that drew me in to Midnight Hour. I loved how unique it was. What surprised me was how soft and comfortable it was. Although the fact it is made of fleece dresses it down a bit, I still find it versatile and I absolutely adore it. So much so that I also bought one for a family member. Actually, everything I have purchased from Midnight Hour thus far (and it's been quite a lot LOL), I have been extraordinarily pleased with. It all seems to be great quality, washes well, true to size and super cute.

Lovely but sooo large

Very nice thick and soft fabric and big hood, the spine detail is intricate and cute. I just wish it wasn’t SO big. I missed the part about it being unisex sizing so had to exchange for a lower size and it’s still so big and the sleeves are 6 inches longer than my arms. I wish I could get an even smaller size. Go 2 sizes down or more unless you want to drown in it.

This cloak is sooo soft and comfy! The spine embroidery is really good and seems quite sturdy. Overall it looks and feels like great quality. I followed the suggested sizing recommendations and it is perfect! Zero regrets. Super happy to have this in my wardrobe! I already gave it a test wash/dry on gentle/low heat and it is just like new. I expect it'll last a very long time and worth the price!

I love this piece so much! It exceeded my expectations - quality material that is warm and soft, detailed embroidery, a nice large hood, AND it even has thumb holes! I do wish it had a button or something on the front to keep it closed in the wind, but other than that, the cloak is just what I wanted.

Amazing piece of clothing! The fabric is sweatshirt thick and super soft. The embroidery on the back is very well done. Totally worth it! I usually run between a medium and a large and based on other reviews I sized down and ordered a small and it is perfect, still flowy but not crazy baggy.

This Spine Cloak rocks!

After a massive spine surgery left me disabled, I started collecting all kinds of clothes with a spine design on them. This spine cloak is wonderful for many reasons. It is very roomy so you can layer easily underneath plus there are thumb holes! Thumb holes rock! I really like the open mesh area around the fully embroidered spine which helps to also balance my temperature in warmer times. Yes, it is genuinely embroidered on fleece - it is not printed fabric! The oversized hood is perfect for me, too.

For me the only thing that is missing is a way to keep the cloak closed at my neck but that is easy to remedy if I choose to sew on a frog loop.

Honestly, everything I've ever purchased from Midnight Hour has been wonderful - quality spooky clothing at a reasonable price.
