Dark Delights Maxi Dress

The Dark Delights Maxi Dress is proof that you don't have to sacrifice comfort to look absolutely enchanting. From the moment I put it on, I felt like I should be wandering through a haunted Victorian mansion carrying a candlestick—and I mean that as the highest compliment.
What really makes this dress stand out is the gorgeous embroidered mesh yoke. It adds just the right amount of elegance and drama without feeling over-the-top, giving the dress a timeless gothic look that's both sophisticated and easy to wear.
The fabric is incredibly soft and comfortable, with enough stretch to move with you throughout the day. The flowing silhouette is flattering, the side slits add a little extra movement, and—because Midnight Hour clearly understands what we want—it has pockets.

I ordered this dress for my "alternative" wedding, and it is absolutely beautiful.

The waistline on this dress is oddly quite high, but not at an empire-waist level. I'm very short-waisted, so for the waist seam to be high on me means it's REALLY high. I did wear a corset-style belt to break up the midline. The dress is also long; I'm 5'3" (175 lbs, size L fit perfectly), and it was ankle-length on me. The sheer embroidered panel is pretty low cut, so keep that in mind when picking undergarments. I wore a skin-colored bra and it was peeking through.

All that having been said, I felt like a goth fairy queen in this dress and I couldn't have loved it more.

This is so flattering, pretty, sexy and sleek but still comfortable enough that I feel like I'm wearing pyjamas. So, so, so good!

34b, 31 waist, 44-46 waist. I got a large. Very flattering. Flattens out the stomach . It has a high quality material. It’s fitted and way better quality than I expected actually. It contours the body perfectly

I’m honestly obsessed with this dress. The Dark Delights Maxi Dress from Midnight Hour is everything I hoped for and more. The black on black lace detailing gives it such a rich, dramatic look without feeling overdone, it’s elegant, a little gothic, and super versatile depending on how you style it.
The fit is really flattering, with a nice flow that makes it comfortable to wear for long periods. The fabric feels soft but still structured enough to hold its shape, which I appreciate in a maxi dress. And the pockets, yes, actual usable pockets, are a total game changer. They’re deep enough to hold essentials without ruining the silhouette.
I’ve worn it both dressed up with boots and accessories and more casually, and it works beautifully either way. If you love dark, romantic styles with practical details, this one’s definitely worth it.

Dress was beautiful and a nice fabric. But the sizing seems so inaccurate. Not willing to guess at sizes for the cost of shipping can really add up.

The material is so stretchy and comfortable! The lace design is gorgeous and looks really flattering for a larger chested person like myself. The leg slits are super sexy and perfect for a night out. The dress is a true maxi length, and I’ll need to wear heels unless I get it hemmed (I’m 5’2”) but it’s so worth it!

I love my Midnight Hour dress with the lace bodice. It has slits up the side, pockets and is so comfortable! I'm looking for a pink tulle slip to put under it so it sort of peeks out at the bottom - a darling look! The dress arrived quickly in time for Christmas and was exactly as described - actually better!

I never order clothes online , but this was an awesome experience. Fast shipping. The fabric feels high quality and the fit was perfect ! I ordered a medium (5,5”- 145 lbs) the only slight inconvenience is that it has to be hand washed and … that’s a lot of fabric haha feels like wearing pjs it’s very comfy.

So comfortable and swishy and cozy, warm but not too warm, and the embroidered yoke is absolutely beautiful. Excellent all by itself or layered with other items. Probably my favorite birthday present to myself this year!
